Help Us Create a Sustainability Knowledge Bank for Students

Wouldn't it be nice if you had a whole list of pre-screened links, blogs, and resources you could access for references and inspiration? Data, stories, images, and previously unpublished information you could integrate into projects or use to develop curricula? At Textile Exchange (TE), we envision this resource as one place with all of the tools and resources you need in your studies involving sustainability.  As we work to accelerate change in the textile industry, it only makes sense to provide this type of access to the people who will soon be making the decisions at brands, retailers, manufacturer's, NGOs, input suppliers and on the farm. To do this right, we need your help to create the foundation of this project by answering a few questions:

  • What topics interest you? These topics could include textile sustainability, impacts such as water and energy, or economic sustainability to name a few.
  • Would you like to have access to experts on those topics? Experts could be TE staff or seasoned veterans and entrepreneurs from specific business and industry sectors.
  • What type of membership makes sense to you? Memberships could be based on semester enrollment, specific class enrollment, or simply for individual student research on special interest topics on an annual basis.

TE wants to give learning institutions and students around the world access to the information they need when they need it.  Your participation will ensure that the Knowledge Bank on Sustainability will provide the tools for success to both students and professors.
