Addressing sustainability means doing so in our direct operations, backwards into our supply chains, and upstream to our consumers.Examples in our direct operations include a growing use of renewable energy, a reduction in our energy consumption, and various recycling initiatives. In our supply chain, this includes our global leadership position in the sourcing of certified organic cotton, and introducing ranges made from other sustainable types of cotton. We are also measuring the water footprint in our supply chain ahead of setting a strategy to reduce that footprint. We advise our customers via our price tickets to reduce the temperature used in their domestic laundering, and encourage them to reduce their reliance on tumble drying.
