A Guide to Traceability
The UN Global Compact has organized a guide to traceability to compile best practices in tools for ensuring traceability to meet the end of advancing sustainability.
This series of case studies is intended to provide practical examples of certification systems. By highlighting the work of companies with strong systems of integrity, powered by certification, we hope to encourage wider use of standards to support product claims. We will be pairing these case studies with webinars, giving you the opportunity to hear directly from TE’s integrity experts and companies featured in the series.
Past Integrity Webinars (slide decks)
an overview of the system of Standards to support sustainability content claims
an introduction to the GRS, a chain of custody standard supporting recycled material content claims, with social and environmental principles
prAna's Nicole Bassett presents on the work done at prAna to implement a Traceability Policy and corresponding certification system
a transacript of the q&a portion of the prAna webinar
With the input of the certification bodies working with their standards, TE and GOTS have harmonized the transaction certificates and scope certificates used for both TE standards and GOTS. The templates are required for all certifices issued under GOTS, OE 100, OE Blended, GRS, CCS, and OCS.
