Update: February 27, 2012
For the 4th time, Textile Exchange was present at Munich Fabric Start which took place from January 31st to February 2nd. During the event, Textile Exchange engaged with over 100 industry professionals by being available at the Eco Village (http://www.munichfabricstart.com/organic-selection-en.html) and by conducting three educational sessions: a presentation and two sustainability round tables.
The sustainability round tables were a new addition to the program and generated much interest. In an open and informal setting, attendees were able to hear the views, challenges and best practices of industry leaders representing different actors in the value chain. Lenzing, Huntsman, Isko, and Puma discussed how to integrate sustainability on a company’s agenda, while Remei, Clariant, Teijidos Royo, and ADC Alchemy addressed the need for sustainable innovation and its impact.
