Textile Exchange has been invited to present at Outdoor Retailer (OR) in Salt Lake City August 2011. OR is an ideal venue to expose Textile Exchange to a broad range of companies interested in sustainable textiles and prospective new members. At the show, our focus is to introduce the services of Textile Exchange - an educational resource, a vast sustainable materials supply chain network, conferences, consulting, standards setting, and support materials.

Textile Exchange Managing Director, LaRhea Pepper, will discuss natural resource use and efficiency, organic fiber opportunities, green innovations and value chain transparency. She’ll provide specific examples of best textile sustainability practices from across the global textile industry.

Join Textile Exchange and Control Union Certifications for a Global Recycled Standard (GRS) Luncheon on Friday, August 5 from 12noon-1pm at the Marriott Courtyard. This complimentary lunch will include brief presentations on the GRS with time for Q&A, and provide a great networking opportunity.
