Applying Sustainability to the Apparel Industry
Textile Exchange and Sustainabiliy in Review are delighted to invite you to a unique one-day workshop on sustainable apparel. This hands-on workshop provides a deep dive into the key aspects of social and environmental sustainability in the apparel supply chain from design to manufacturing.
Workshop content will include:
- The impacts of the apparel industry socially & environmentally
- Sustainable Materials – organic, recycled, Tencel, rayon from bamboo, wool, and others
- Responsible Processing – dyeing & finishing
- Ethical manufacturing – working conditions
- Product Integrity - transparency, certification & labeling
