The Industry Integrity Team at Textile Exchange put together the Certification Toolkit as a guide to smoothing out the path to product certification. Taking into special consideration the needs of brands and manufacturers, the guide will be useful as the first step in understanding how certification works and identifying the actions for your company to begin certifying your products. For those who have already begun to use product certification, the Certification Toolkit will provide answers to implementation issues, reading certificates, and additional technical issues.  The full version is available as a benefit at no extra charge for TE members or may be purchased by non-members for $250.

The use of the Textile Exchange Member Logo is for all members to demonstrate that you are a member of a globally recognized organization dedicated to sustainable textiles. The Textile Exchange Member Logo is not a claim of organic certification and is not to be used on product hangtags making claims about a product, but may clearly indicate membership on marketing materials and websites during the annual term of membership.

Your Certificate of Textile Exchange Membership confirms your company’s support of The Exchange as a nonprofit, member-based organization and our mission to catalyze market forces to deliver sustained environmental, economic and social benefits through the expansion of sustainable textiles. This certificate will display your company name, membership level and annual term.

Your company profile will be built on Textile Exchange’s online searchable database to display your business and contact details, giving greater visibility to your company where thousands look for sourcing fiber, certain services, products, your specific country, or just organic cotton.

This report provides a comprehensive overview of the production of organic cotton, analyzes its context on a global and regional scale, highlights trends and emerging issues and provides recommendations for the continued health of the organic cotton fiber production sector. It contains detailed statistics on production and farming as well as information and reports from around the world. The Farm and Fiber Report is the only global report of its kind.
