Advancing Sustainability Through Recycled Wool
June 20 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm UTC+2
Hosted by: Confindustria Toscana Nord, ICEA, and Textile Exchange
Date: June 20, 2018
Location: Confindustria Toscana Nord Office, Via Valentini 14 – 59100 Prato, Italy
Over the past several years, more and more brands are asking for recycled, more responsible, materials. Wool and cotton have been recycled for decades, but have only recently been considered “value-added” materials. What has changed? Is demand for recycled materials part of a trend, or a permanent shift in the industry? Textile Exchange is partnering with ICEA and Confindustria Toscana to host a seminar to open the dialogue between the producers of recycled wool and market decision-makers. The workshop will provide an opportunity for brands, suppliers, and other industry players interested in recycled wool or the Responsible Wool Standard to build long-term strategies for success.
