WEAR: World Ethical Apparel Roundtable
WEAR is the only conference in Canada that is focused on the social and environmental impacts of the fashion & apparel industry. Each year, we gather global leaders who share best practices, in an engaging and interactive format. Attendees not only learn, but have several opportunities to contribute to the discussion and to network with fellow attendees and speakers.
Our 4 themes this year are:
- Waste & The Circular Economy
- Labour & Responsible Supply Chains
- Water Pollution, Consumption & Innovations
- Textile Sourcing, Science & Technology
WHO ATTENDS WEAR? Each year WEAR attracts a diverse audience, from big brands and retailers such as Adidas, Target, Holt Renfrew, H&M, the GAP, Eileen Fisher, Lululemon, Hudson’s Bay, and TJX, to faculty from various fashion and business schools, supply chain and logistics experts, policy makers and NGOs. This year is already shaping up to be truly international thanks to our partnership with Ashoka Fabric of Change, who are bringing several of their Fellows from the US, Switzerland, UK, Brazil, Indonesia, Ghana, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and India. And we have speakers coming from the US, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands.
WEAR is best positioned to help you gain insights that will contribute to your overall business profitability and sustainability! WEAR 2017 will leave you inspired and equipped to innovate and take your business to the next level.
