Certificate Authentication

Textile Exchange supports authorized certification bodies in ensuring the integrity of the certificates issued to facilities certified to our standards. This page provides information on the certificate authentication methods used by authorized certification bodies which could be helpful for certified facilities and other stakeholders. Learn about scope certificate and transaction certificate issuance requirements by reviewing the policies below:

As the authentication method used in the scope and transaction certificates issued by ALGI, you will notice the use of QR codes in the lower right corner of the first page of the respective document. By scanning this code using smartphones, you will be redirected to the digital version of the respective document.

Note: The link that appears in the address bar must have the following domain: “algiinternational.sharepoint.com”. Otherwise, reject the document as invalid and contact ALGI for additional steps.

To confirm the authenticity of your certificate you can use 2 ways:

 – Please scan the QR code found on the certificate, which will be forwarded to an electronic address on the web, and you will be able to view your valid digital certificate.

 – Please open your certificate on pdf Acrobat Reader, click on “Verify Signatures” to validate the electronic signature.

· To check the authenticity of scope and transaction certificates, please contact us by email: verify@etko.com.tr. We will respond to certificate validity within two business days.

· To confirm the scope and transaction certificates, please scan the QR code located in the footer of each page. The original and last version of the certificate will be opened. Make sure that the opened link starts with ” etko.com.tr/ “. If not, the certificate is forged.

· Please access our website (http://www.etko.com.tr/en/customers-list)  to validate scope certificates. After selecting the standard on this page, you can search with the Client’s Name to see the original and last version of certificate.

In view of possible hacking, the QR code of this certificate should always link to a website under the following domain: www.gsciservices.com/verify_certificate/transaction-certificate. Please be informed that you can validate your scope or transaction certificate through below options:

1. Through inserting license number and Scope/Transaction certificate number in this web link – https://gscsintl.com/certificate-check/

2. Through the QR code on certificate 1st Page that you will find in the certificate, which will direct you to the specified domain containing the certificate on GSCS Website.

To verify a certificate, please scan the QR code located in the lower right corner of the document. The domain you see should be our IDFL Online Services page where you can input and submit your certificate number. The number you submit needs to match the certificate exactly, for example 21-123456.  After submission the valid scope certificate will appear on your device for your verification.

To authenticate scope certificate and transaction certificates, please use the email address: SourceClear_certificate.validation@intertek.com from which Intertek will respond to confirm certificate validity.

To confirm authenticity of the scope certificate, use the QR code that confirms the certified company name, the certificate number, the standard, the status and the certificate expiry date.

To authenticate an Organic Content Standard scope or transaction certificate issued by Soil Association Certification please send a copy of the certificate to textiles@soilassociation.org.  

 We will check that it remains valid and is the same as the version we issued, including the company details, activities, products, and sites certified. If you have a specific concern or query, please include this in your email.

UL Verification Services Scope and Transactions Certificates can be authenticated by referencing our SPOT database or emailing our customer service team at LST.ULE.ProgramAdministration@ul.com.

All certificates issued by USB Certification can be authenticated by scanning QR codes provided on each certificate. 

The cryptographic signing certificate used for digitally signing all certificates issued by USB Certification can be used for authentication. Certificate Authority: Sectigo. Holder of the Cryptographic Signing Certificate: USB Certification Denetim Gözetim ve Belgelendirme Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi.
