Business Development Manager – Apparel
Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:
- Maintain & enhance customer intimacy through educational training, enquiry follow-up, branding service and supply chain support & management
- Promote Lenzing at events, trade shows, webinars
- Identify market trends and business opportunities for expansion of business
- Support emerging designers with resources and product development with Lenzing Fibers
- Initiate co-branding campaign with leading brands and increase TENCEL™ awareness
- Work with customers to increase use of hangtag, branding and certification program
- Coordinate & align with global apparel segment internally
Our expectations for this exciting role:
- Bachelor’s degree with Textile Development or Industry Knowledge experience.
- 3+ years experience in business development, sales or account management
- Knowledge and experience of textile construction and development (fiber, processing, dyeing, finishing and testing)
- Knowledge and experience in apparel production and supply chain management from product development to retail
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills, and networking skills
- Strong ownership and willingness to move things forward
