Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
•Develop all around the strategy of the environmental program for the company both short run and long run
•Set sustainability target & goal in all aspects which is measurable. Plan, evaluate, implement & monitor.
• Ensure that all aspects of environmental protection which we set are achievable & measurable
•Collaborate with factories, mills, and its designated parties to maintain consistent focus with the goal of meeting environmental protection aspects/customer requirements
•Manage vendor & mills’ performance on environmental protection through regular feedback, key performance index, and corrective action response
Job Requirements:
•Degree holder / Higher Diploma / Associate Degree in Fashion & Textile / environmental science / engineering / science related disciplines
•5 years of solid experience in environmental management for the garment industry or related production field
•Experience in preparation of EIA on industries, with working experience with Environmental Consultancy is preferred
•Good knowledge of technical and management measures to significantly reduce energy use and emissions of greenhouse gases
•Prefer to have experience in water stewardship: Reduce water consumption and maximize the use of recycled water;
•Prefer to have chemical management: Chemical substances in our raw materials and finished products according to our restricted substances list (RSL)
•Well-versed in Global environmental regulations
•Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems, and WWF Low Carbon Manufacturing Programme (LCMP)
•Prefer to have experience in the preparation of sustainability public reports. •Good knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel).
•Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
•Immediately available is preferred
