How are requirements that reference ZDHC guidelines revised for first processing facilities in the Materials Matter Standard?

The ZDHC MRSL criterion was removed from the first draft of the Materials Matter Standard since the ZDHC MRSL guidance was not meant for Tier 4 facilities (i.e., first processing where the chemicals used in the manufacturing are building blocks and cannot be replaced). Therefore, it is necessary to replace the ZDHC MRSL and add chemical requirements that would be more suitable for this tier of the supply chain. Hence, in the Materials Matter Standard Pilot V1.0, we have introduced several new criteria that are more relevant to the first processing of recycled materials.
