How will this affect the documentation collection and verification process for me and my suppliers/buyers? 

We will be able to have a better response to this question once we have an analysis of what is changing from the existing standards to the unified standard. For example, the unified standard will include impact indicators, which will most proably require new documentation. So, if there are new requirements, then the auditees will have to show that they have documentation to auditors that they fulfill the requirements.

We will continue to work with accredited CBs regarding auditing as we have done so far (3rd party certification).
