If a supplier or fabric mill only wants to be certified to a certain material, how will they abide by criteria that do not apply to them? 

Each criterion within the standard is applicable to one or more materials. The reference is included in the 2nd Draft “Material” column; hence, anyone using the Excel version is able to use the filter functionality at that column, choosing the material(s) of interest, and the result will be a tailored version for a specific material.
