Job Summary 

The Supply Chain Expert is part of the Textile Exchange Standards System department, responsible for the development and maintenance of various textile industry supply chain standards used for independent auditing and certification. This position will lead the technical development of Textile Exchange’s chain of custody standards1 and related policies and procedures, and their connectivity to the broader chain of custody framework, which includes our traceability platform (Trackit), the Recognition Framework, claims, and labelling.  The Supply Chain Expert will also play a key role in providing technical oversight and guidance of due diligence systems as they relate to the Standards System. The Supply Chain Expert will support Textile Exchange’s transition to the Materials Matter System, providing the required expertise to update the relevant standards, policies, and procedures. As a member of the Standards System department, they will collaborate closely with various internal teams and stakeholders to gather and analyze feedback throughout the standard development and consultation processes. Their role will help maintain our organization’s commitment to credible sustainability systems as outlined by the ISEAL Code of Good Practice for Sustainability Systems
