About

Who is it for?

The Community Cohort is tailored to organizations whose work sits outside of direct raw material sourcing or production, who are looking to grow their sustainability expertise, and seeking to share the journey with peers across the industry. It is open to all organizations, with no prerequisites for participation.

It works well for:

  • Suppliers who are not directly sourcing raw materials
  • Service providers, innovators, and consultants
  • Students, academics, NGOs, and research organizations
  • Brands, retailers, manufacturers, or suppliers not yet ready to join the Action Cohort

What’s required

When you join the Community Cohort, you’re encouraged to:

  • Connect with peers: sharing insights, experiences, lessons learned, and fresh perspectives.
  • Participate in learning opportunities: such as webinars, workshops, and events.
  • Exchange best practices: To help drive measurable progress in climate, nature, and social outcomes across the supply system.

By contributing, organizations strengthen the community and accelerate shared progress.

Textile Exchange’s redefined membership structure reflects the organization’s five-year strategy to 2030, which at its core aims to create an enabling environment for scaling preferred production systems and to address economic barriers where they are most acute, at the very start of the supply system.

As part of this, from 2027 Textile Exchange will be introducing an updated membership fee structure aligned to support the industry to collectively accelerate the scaling of preferred production systems.
