Join us at the 2026 Textile Exchange Conference

The 2026 Textile Exchange Conference brings together experts from across the fashion, textile, and apparel industry for three days of collective learning focused on the ways that we produce, choose, and reuse materials.

Under the theme The Implementation Era, this year’s event explores how we can scale what works across businesses, supply systems, and landscapes. The agenda is rooted in the realities of those leading and delivering change—from sustainability executives and practitioners to material producers.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Strengthening a coordinated movement for climate, nature, people, and animals

Guided by the launch of Textile Exchange’s new action pathways, which support the adoption of preferred cropping, recycling, and animal material production systems, this year’s conference focuses on translating desired outcomes into informed decision-making and tangible progress.

At its core, the conference will provide a platform for a diverse range of voices from different geographies and cultures to share their insights and challenges related to producing and sourcing more responsible raw materials and fibers. Together, they will discuss the shifts underway, how we strengthen the solutions already driving progress, and what is still needed for effective change to grow.

The 2026 Textile Exchange Conference is taking place on the unceded territories of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Textile Exchange recognizes their strength, endurance, and resilience and expresses solidarity.

2026 Theme

The Implementation Era

After several years defined by rapid change and evolving expectations, shifting external pressures are becoming the new normal. With it, many organizations are moving beyond reactive responses toward a more grounded, consistent course of action—one that is increasingly integrated into everyday operations across supply systems. When it comes to sourcing materials, this means supporting and investing in preferred production systems, which can deliver business value and supply resilience in the face of uncertainty.

At the same time, global climate and nature commitments made earlier in the decade are now firmly in view. Recent years have focused largely on developing understanding, frameworks, and infrastructure to support strategic sourcing decisions. But to secure the longevity of our industry and its material supply, we need to turn planning into practice.

The 2026 Textile Exchange Conference will focus on how to convert this collective readiness into actions that, when aligned across supply and demand, deliver system-wide resilience. From reporting and data sharing to sourcing verified materials, together we will build shared systems and collective momentum that drive meaningful progress for landscapes and communities.

Conference FAQs

How do I find my member registration passcodes?

All passcodes have been sent to the primary contact we have on record for each member company. These codes may also be found in the primary contact’s profile on The Hub. If you are unsure who your company’s primary membership contact is, please reach out to your Textile Exchange representative, who you can find listed in the left-hand column of your Hub profile.

How many tickets are available to my member company?

If your company is a Supporter level member, you receive one in-person pass and two virtual passes. If your company is a Partner level member, you receive three in-person passes and two virtual passes. If you are a Friend level member, you will not receive any passes—however, you can activate your member discount by selecting “Member” when you start the online registration. All member companies are verified through the registration process.

Can we exchange virtual passes for in-person and vice versa?

We offer a hybrid event and virtual passes are included as a member benefit. However, we do not convert passes from in-person to virtual and vice versa. While this was done occasionally in the years following the COVID-19 pandemic due to travel restrictions, from 2023, we no longer convert passes.

Can I convert a full-access pass into multiple one-day passes so more colleagues can attend?

While we are unable to convert full-access passes into multiple one-day passes, we do offer a member discount which can be used to purchaseadditional passes if needed.

Are there discounts for NGOs, academia, or start-ups?

We are pleased to offer discounts for attendees from NGOs, nonprofits, and academia. To see if you are eligible, please fill out the form below using your work email address.
If your organization is an NGO member of Textile Exchange, you will have a separate discount code. Please check with the person who manages your membership for details.

How do we best support producers/farmer groups to attend the conference?

We believe that a diversity of roles, experiences, and perspectives is needed to enable conversations that will move us forward. To help break down the barriers that prevent material producers from attending our conference, we allocate travel grants and/or conference passes each year to a shortlist of nominated farmers.

How can I register for a field trip?

The 2026 field trip offerings are not yet finalized, and therefore participant registration for field trips is not open. We will notify our community via a newsletter when the field trip offerings become available for sign-up. If you would like to receive our communications, please sign up here.

Are there hotel discount codes?

Yes, Textile Exchange has agreed to a discounted rate at a few local hotels for conference attendees, please see the section above “Where to stay in Vancouver”.

Further details on accommodation and our partner hotels will be shared soon. Please note that discounted rooms are limited and subject to availability, so early booking is advised.

Are there any volunteer opportunities for attending the conference?

We appreciate your interest in volunteering at this year’s conference. However, we do not have volunteer opportunities available at this time. We do hope that you will attend and enjoy the event as a guest.
