Is brand certification required if brands want to label their products?

In order to use the applicable Standard logo to label a product, brands will need to be certified by July 1, 2022 to comply with CCS 3.0. Between now and July 1, 2022 there is a transition period in place during which you could choose to audit against the CCS 2.0. We recommend to get certified to CCS 3.0 requirements as soon as you are able to, no later than the mandatory date of July 1, 2022.
